Description

The Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) in collaboration with the Pause Scholarship Foundation hereby have the honor of inviting you to a lunch seminar on:

How to get young professionals to stay:

Presentations and discussion of ideas and actions that may influence the outcome

The lunch seminar gives insight into the considerations of young, global leaders’ deciding whether to stay with their first employer or search for new employment. Specifically, it discusses young professionals’ concern to find a match between their career interests and employers’ ability and willingness to offer a fruitful dialogue and opportunities for growth as an important part of the decision to stay or leave.

This topic is illustrated from both a practical and a theoretical perspective. A brief presentation of the Global Village program will be made by Director Kira Mendez from the Iacocca Institute. Christian Jacobsson, BSc, SSE and Josefine Holmgren, BSc, SSE, who were granted the PAUSE and Iacocca Institute Global Village scholarships, will present their study and their reflections on how to get young professionals to stay. CEO Fredrik Stranne and Anna Dyhre from Coreworkers will discuss how they support their clients to take care of young professionals. Representatives of Telia and ResMed will present what they do to match young professionals’ expectations. Finally, Pernilla Bolander, Associate Professor, SSE, will initiate a discussion and make some concluding remarks together with the Moderator of the seminar, Andreas Werr, Professor, SSE.
